This issue, Born In Flames, engages the power of the political imaginary for shaping the future: at a time when the only inevitability seems to be transformation. The contributions of this issue constitute experiments in collective thought with different and sometimes conflicting ideas, practices, and imaginaries from the climate catastrophe to the abolition of violent orders.
Scholarly articles come from Ricardo Juozepavicius Gonçalves, Abigail Iturra, Lena Silberzahn and Wojciech Ufel, with an intervention essay by Elliot C. Mason. In conversation are Erik Swyngedouw; Robyn Maynard and Leanne Betasamosake Simpson; Brenna Bhandar and Eva von Redecker; Ariella Aïsha Azoulay, Dalaeja Foreman, Shellyne Rodriguez and Nitasha Dhillon; with a talk by Sophie Lewis
